Acupuncture May Improve IVF Pregnancy Success

Washington (dbTechno) - Dutch and U.S. researchers have reported this week that acupuncture may actually improve the chances of getting a woman pregnant through in-vitro fertilization, IVF.

Fertility experts are very hopeful about these theories which are coming out as they hope that acupuncture treatments can help with IVF pregnancy methods.

Eric Manheimer of the University of Mayrland School of Medicine led the analysis and looked at findings from previous studies on around 1,300 women.

They were all going through in-vitro fertilization, IVF.

IVF is the process of making sperm and eggs in a lab dish to get a woman pregnant by placing them in the womb.

Three of the studies found that acupuncture was very beneficial, while one found no benefit at all.

Researchers stated though that the odds of conceiving, becoming pregnant through IVF, rose by 65% for each women who received acupuncture.
